PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Email Support:
- Identifies and addresses potential service level problems within the IBM Notes email environment
- Standard email, calendar, scheduling, and reservations support
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of production email databases
Server Support:
- Performs daily health check of email and database servers
- Monitors server performance, sizing and space utilization, load balance configuration and backups
- Responsible for the processing of notification paging and texting through hosted systems
Content Filtering:
- Monitoring and reporting of spam, virus and bulk email processing
- Quarantine review and removal of unwanted email(s)
- Required to investigate origin and potential infiltration methods of certain ‘flagged’ emails
- Works directly with hosted/third party content filtering vendor in the investigation of emails
iOS/Android Support:
- Sets up email accounts for the receiving and routing of email on mobile devices
- General support of user configurations and troubleshooting
- Support of calendar, meeting views and notifications through device
Handheld or user preference security support

Education and/or Experience:
Years of experience 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology and IBM Notes/Domino email administration
Education preference 4 year degree in IT related course of study
Computer Skills 3-5 years experience in supporting the implementation of IBM Notes/Domino email databases and account management
Strong knowledge of SMTP, mail routing, HTTP, security,
directories, and replication in a multi-domain global environment
Certifications, etc. Certified IBM Notes/Domino Email Admin or similar preferred
Language Skills:
- Communicates effectively with business and IT associates
- Exhibits good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to convey a professional and positive image in all situations
- Possess effective presentation development and delivery skills including the ability to adjust presentations to match appropriate audience
- Experience in transposing data into clear and concise documents for upper level review
- Ability to document findings and solutions that address business needs
