This job is an Information Technology position with a Business Intelligence focus and concentration.
The role encompasses specializing in Manufacturing Operations acting as a liaison between the business teams and the central SAP technical support team.
Responsible for:
– Support business operations and/or Project manage Aero structures projects in at least two functional areas of SAP manufacturing operations. The four functional Areas of focus include:
1. Production Operations:
– Engineering Workbench/BOM’s and Routings; Production Resource Tools; Production Order planning and execution including rework and outside production; Capacity Planning; Long Term Planning; MPS/MRP planning
2. Inventory management:
– MPS/MRP planning; Inventory Movements (movement types); Inventory Management methods (ROP, Safety stock, Period of Supply, etc); Receiving; Cycle Counts; Stock Transfer Orders
3. Plant Maintenance module
– Calibration of Manufacturing Equipment & Tooling); Equipment records; Production Resource Tools
4. Quality Notifications
– task assignments; Vendor Returns;
Preferred experience in one or both of the following 2 additional functional areas:
1. Sales and Distribution
– Sales Orders and Sales Order BOM’s; Customer Master; Quotation; Schedule Agreements; Contracts; Deliveries; Shipments; Billing/Invoicing; Pricing; Master Scheduling; GTS Export; Consignment; Customer Portal; Service Management Orders;
2. Supply Chain Management
– Purchase Order; Purchase Requisition; Request for Quote; Purchase Info Record; Vendor Master; Quota Arrangements; Pricing Conditions; Scheduling Agreements; SRM; SNC; EDI; Subcontracting; Vendor Returns
– answering day to day SAP inquiries from the business relating to the above functional areas of SAP
– analyzing gaps in business knowledge, developing and deploying Standard Job Instructions (SJI) on projects being implemented
– Develop test scripts & coordinate Aero structure business user testing for Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Quality Management (QM) modules for all projects assigned
– using knowledge and experience of the SAP system capabilities to identify, drive and implement business and system improvement opportunities; accumulating and prioritizing requirements / bugs with the business
– act as the SAP liaison for lean events conducted by the business
– perform proactive research where necessary to recommend the most optimum solution
– create detailed enhancement designs based on the opportunities above, to present and prioritize them
Other responsibilities:
– Project Management experience a plus
– SAP configuration and ABAP de-bugging / code reading experience a plus
-Have a customer service mindset
Required: Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience including 2+ years of SAP implementation, support or advanced user experience
OR
Masters Degree and 3 years of experience including 2+ years of SAP implementation, support or advanced user experience
– SAP 4.7 or higher
– US Citizenship or Green Card holder
Required experience in two or more of the following 4 areas:
